THE MOST DAMAGING FIRE IN CHRISTCHURCH!

One day we got a motorcycle in kaiapoi,

But when we came back I saw a big black cloud!

But it was not a big black cloud, It was a big cloud of smoke rising up to the sky.

On day 2 the news of the big cloud of smoke appears on the morning news,

It was a big fire on the port hills!

On day 3 “Let's not go to the aerial until the fire is put out” I said, And more danger was coming…

On day 4 There was more danger coming just like I said! The fire started damaging houses.

On day 5 The fire started destroying the vegetation around the port hills, The firefighters started risking their lives to help people survive the big fire…

On day 6 A helicopter pilot crashed in the middle of the big port hills fire, and heaps of evacuations going on while the massive fire was still going.

On day 7 Bill English came to christchurch all because of the big fire of the on the port hills.

It is the worst 2nd month ever in christchurch!

Right now the fire is put out overground but the fire has hotspots which means the fire is still going underground and it must be put out otherwise the fire will ignite and come back overground or it could come much more powerful this time.

If people that lived on the port hills have seen this that means that they can remember the fire that they had in christchurch from a long time ago.

I think the fire started up with gasoline poured on the grass and then lighted with a lighter.

Now everybody is safe from the fire and the fire has died down and the civil defence has done its job to defend us from this massive fire.

THE END!

  1. Hey Fenix, great story. I like the way that you have broken it down into days for us. I think it was a terrible month for CHCH too. Hopefully next year will be better! Next time, maybe you could include a picture - scrolling down to see THE END by Fenix, I already knew this!
